As you can easily see, structures from nature are also an essential component. 
 
The main source of inspiration for both of these works, however was the writer and author Edgar Allan Poe. 
A master of his craft who has shaped modernist literature like no other, 
but who also has a tragic biography. 
A great genius in the field of crime, horror and gothic literature, the inventor of short storiesand pioneer of symbolism, on which many later authors were oriented. 
 
He possessed extraordinary abilities of suggestive sound and visual language. 
In a psychological way he knew how to unite the primal fears and the deep abysses of man and reveal them in an eerily beautiful, but also macabre way.
